God gave two great commandments that define our relationships: to be in a relationship with God where we return the great love shown to us in Christ Jesus with all our heart, mind, and strength - and if we love God to love what God loves: our neighbors. We are working on being the best neighbor possible. We have a long way to go, but we will keep working at it.
GriefShare
When a loved one dies we experience a storm of emotions and are deluged with challenges. GriefShare is a nationally verified suport group based on Christian spiritual values to help us complete the ourney form mourning into joy. With video instruction from those who have taken the journey coupled with small group discussion with facilitators who have been there and others who are on the same journey as you, we provide a safe place to listen and share. Call our office for current session dates and times.
Monthly Mission Baskets
From the beginning, Family of Faith has designated a local ministry or agency each month for a special collection of goods or monetary donation. Recipients have included those addressing homelessness, hunger, abuse, sex trafficking, veterans, youth, crisis intervention, transitions from incarceration, urban outreach, special needs children or adults, and substance abuse.
Partnership with the American Red Cross
Family of Faith hosts blood donations every year in partnership with the Red Cross. Our fully accessible location at the Tiffin Mall ensures adequate parking and an easy to find location for any resident in the area that wishes to donate. Family of Faith members provide volunteers for set-up, operation, and take down of each of the sessions.
